The challenge:
The bank was facing a number of challenges, including:

  • The need to automate the processing of credit and debit card details.
  • The need to automate the processing of collateralized loans approvals.
  • The need to automate the validation process for electronic transactions and online payments.

 

The engagement:
The bank was facing a number of challenges, including:

  • Build robots that would upload large number of files with credit & debit information.
  • Build robots that would process collateralized loans approvals creating one consolidated file by customer.
  • Built robots that would process validation process for SINPE transactions.
  • It is a staff augmentation bid providing software engineers (+2-years) in PEGA Systems, SQL Server 2017, AS400 DB2, ETL´s architecture and development.
The solution: We proposed a solution that included the following:
  • The development of a set of robots that would automate the processing of credit and debit card details, collateralized loans approvals, and SINPE transactions.
  • The use of PEGA Systems, SQL Server 2017, AS400 DB2, and ETL tools to build the robots.
  • The deployment of the robots on the bank’s IT infrastructure.

Proof prints: The following proof points were used to demonstrate the success of the solution:
  • The time for file processing was reduced by up to 80%.​
  • The risk of human error was removed from the process.​
  • The bank was able to provide better and faster attention to its customers.
